Program Requirements

Graduate admissions is a two-step process between the School of Education academic degree programs and the UW–Madison Graduate School. Applicants must meet requirements of both the program and the Graduate School.

The Graduate School sets only the minimum requirements, and the academic program requirements are often more rigorous than those set by the Graduate School. Explore our graduate academic offerings below and learn about each program’s specific application procedures and admissions requirements.
