Arts Programs

If you want to be a trailblazer in the arts, you belong in a UW–Madison arts degree or certificate program. Housed within the School of Education, the art, theatre and drama, and dance departments contribute to a vibrant creative community on campus.

As a student, you can major in a nationally renowned academic program in printmaking, fine arts, metals or glass blowing; study with world-class dance faculty; and rub elbows with established artists who visit campus. Our alumni have gone on to inspire the world as celebrated artists, actors, designers, production managers, teachers, dancers, and more.
